note, if the gutter doesn’t look badly dented, you’re likely fine.
You should first understand your seamless aluminum gutter system. Remember that each side of an aluminum gutter system consists of a single, unbroken piece. If a job is done correctly, The only seams you should find are all at 90 degree turns at each corner of your house. This is true whether the piece is three feet long or twenty feet long. Each piece is custom made, right on-site when the gutters are installed. This means that you can’t exactly cut away a dented section of the gutter and “splice in” a replacement. Fortunately for most, you may not need to. If you need seamless gutter repair we can assist you if you give us a ring! You could try removing the dent yourself. The truth is that most dents are not that serious. You can usually work them out with a small hammer, or maneuver with a pair of pliers. Also, if the dent isn’t interfering with the functionality of the gutter or the very important aesthetic of your home, then you may even choose to leave it alone. The key question is whether or not the water is continuing to flow properly through that section of gutter without leaking or spilling over the edges. Get help with severe damage. The only time you should be concerned about a dented gutter is when the gutter is collapsed or crushed to the point where it can no longer do its job. Unfortunately, when this happens you will likely need to replace the entire run of that section. If you ever see severe damage please don’t hesitate to call! We would be happy to help.
